Provides residential services under contract with Social Development to physically and/or mentally disabled individuals. The service presently operates three group home settings plus several individual apartments and life share settings to individuals needing less support. The group home settings provide developmental care, not custodial, on a 24-hour basis. Developmental care supports each person in all areas of their lives through life skills teaching and community inclusion.
The majority of residents are referred from Social Development with referrals taken from the community, and all persons follow the Case Management concept whereby individual plans are formulated to work toward goals of more independent living and integration.
