Easter Seals NB is committed to assisting children and adults with disabilities to achieving independence and equality. We do this by offering direction to existing services, or by using a person’s own resources to help that is otherwise unavailable.
Rehabilitation Equipment
Provides access to mobility equipment loans for long-term use, such as wheelchairs, walkers, bath lifts etc. Assistance is available for travel as well as other types of supports. Assistance is based on financial need.
Repair Service
Conducts various types of equipment repair at their workshop or by accessing specialists in the field.
Assistive Technology Program
Offers information and consultation about assistive technology to health professionals and persons with disabilities. The program loans specialized electronic aids for assessment or for long-term use. Equipment is loaned out for a 2-month period for assessment purposes only, upon referral of a health professional.
Once the assessment is complete, arrangements can be made for either a long-term loan through one of their other programs or for the purchase of the equipment through an appropriate seller.
CAMP ROTARY

Camp Rotary provides a recreational camping program with a wide variety of activities promoting independence for all campers. It is offered to children and adults with all kinds of disabilities, including physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, and persons with speech or learning difficulties. Camp sessions run from June until late August and provide great programs tailored to our campers’ needs. The ratio of staff to campers is 1 to 2, in order to ensure everyone can participate in all activities.
